Parent Communication: Effective communication between parents and staff is key to a positive childcare experience. Parents are encouraged to discuss their child’s daily activities and any changes in their home life to help us provide the best possible care. All shared information is treated confidentially and shared only with relevant staff.
Communication with parents will be conducted through our designated application, which includes daily reports, monthly newsletters and other important updates.
Harassment Policy: Happy Hearts Daycare maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, abuse, neglect or corporal punishment. We are committed to providing a respectful environment for both children and staff. Any form of harassment (verbal or otherwise) will not be tolerated, and the daycare reserves the right to withdraw services at the discretion of the Director.
In the event of a concern or conflict, parents are encouraged to speak directly with the staff involved. If the issue is not resolved, the program Director will facilitate a meeting to address the concerns.
As required by law, any suspected cases of child abuse, neglect or exploitation will be reported to the Department of Family and Children’s Services.
